Scitech

Went to Scitech (aka science centre) with jil on mon.
There is this section where they have various samples of animal's poo and you have to guess which poo belongs to which animal.
I GUESSED THEM CORRECTLY

After working for a period of time in Night Safari,

animal poo recognition is one of the skill that I acquired.

or....is this not a skill... =.=


Anyway, when i came back home, i wrote a feedback letter to scitech coz i could not hold back my dissatisfaction..........


"It was my first experience to scitech and i had an amazing experience. The exhibits are cleverly designed and they interest me greatly. However, i noticed the need for a minor change in the exhibit settings. This regards to the air canon being placed close to the chicks exhibit. While watching the chicks, i observed that they were being frightened by the air canon every time some one fires the air canon. Thus, it might be better if the chicks can be situated beside exhibits that will not produce loud noises. Hope this advice will help to improve scitech in anyway. Thank you for your time :)"


So yeah..
Hope the poor chicks will have some time of peace soon!

Just to know that you are alright makes it all worthwhile.

My Brother

Kept reminding myself to send a text to my brother in Singapore to wish him happy birthday.
And maybe becoz i was thinking about it to much that i dreamt of him at night.
So the dream goes like that...

We were all at the harbour coz apparently he had to leave for some army mission for a very long time.
I was helping him to pack his bag and i remember putting in some pencils and a sharpener.
The suddenly he told me that he didn't have an eraser, so i ran home to get it.
When i came back, he left.
Was crying like mad.

When i woke up, i texted my brother and told him about my dream.
He said lots of stuff that i never imagined that he would and that made me cry even more.
So i was telling him, "so you think that me crying in the dream isn't enough and now you want to make me cry even more?"
HAHAHHA. >.<

Although we don't really talk much and neither do we express our feelings openly to each other,
but i know that we love each other.

Was looking back at my pictures and videos of night safari.
It is really what i want to do for the rest of my life.
My friend thought that it is rather unclean and stuff to work in such conditions with animals.
I understand what she means but I somehow i don't feel that way at all.

Okay so now I am a bit confused.
I am going for vet course.
You treat the animals and return them back to the keeper's care.
But as a keeper, you actually take care of them everyday like your own pet and i really love that.

Got to sort that out myself.
Night Safari is a place i want to be :)

Fifth day of intensive studying.

While i was making bio notes, suddenly i see stains on my paper. 

I thought one of my pen was leaking.

BUT...

instead, my little pinkie that usually rest on the table while i write was bleeding. 

OMG.

Write till i bleed.

Not even exaggerating. 

U can imagine how much i wrote over the past few days >.<

and thanks to mr david bird for sharing with me the NON evolutionist point of view one day before the exam.....

tmr's paper is on evolution, so i must write from a evolutionist point of view even though he made me TOTALLY not believe in evolution.
