On the plane,
when the ice on the window started to melt,
I know I'm home!
Lol.
My parents came to pick me up from the airport.
Really happy to see them.
Been a year man.
Not easy.
Went straight for Teo Chew porridge at like 5.30 in the morning!
Had roti prata and durian today already.
My top cravings.
More to come guys.
Don't worry, I'm going back to night safari to work this summer holiday.
So my weight is taken care of.
HAHA.
Met up with ex colleagues for dinner!
Had jap buffet.
I was stuffed.
Went for a drink at a bar and now I'm home~
That's about it!
I hope you are happy now :)

How can ANS 101 not be an open book exam!!
It's impossible to memorise everything.
Literally.
So many dates and day/month/year length to remember for so many different kinds of activities for so many different animals.
So many different breeds of animals that exist in this whole entire world.
I will be a walking animal encyclopedia if I can pass this exam.
This is what it takes to be a vet :(
And I'm only in year 0.
5 more years to go....

Some parents may not make as much money as other parents do.
But their love for their kids is not any lesser.
They will work so hard for that minimum wage just to support the family and the kids' education.
Doing and spending all that they can afford to celebrate their children's birthday just to see the smile on their faces.
When you were young, your parents were the ones who spoon fed you, stayed up all night when you had a fever, repeated the same alphabet again and again every single day just so that you could learn.
Their memory may not be as good now so it might be your turn to repeat stuff to them.
Don't ever feel impatient or annoyed with them.
While you are busy growing up, don't forget that they are getting old at the same time too.
Don't let yourself have the chance to regret when they leave you one day.
They eventually will..
So no one should lack the virtue of filial piety.
After a year, I'm finally going home to see my parents.
Can't wait :)

One last exam on Thurday!!!!!!!!
It's on animal production systems.
You literally have the knowledge to run a farm of any type after this unit.
So you can imagine the crazy content that I have to memorise.
Not just that.
Have to identify all the beef cattle, dairy cattle, sheep, goats, camalids, horses, chickens and pigs BREEDs.
Some of them really look EXACTLY the same............
I will be like "oh this is a white suffolk!"
Then the answer would be "its a white dorper"
Or "oh this is a poll dorset!"
then it will go "this is a white suffolk!"
google the pictures of these sheep and you will know what I mean.
I'm so loving animals....

Lesson Learnt
Finished Cell biology exams today so I deleted all my notes.
I didn't realise that my 20,000 words animal ethics notes for tomorrow's open book exam was within those files so it was deleted too.
OMG.
I went crazy.
And guess what. I even emptied my trash bin.
So, my friends were helping me to look for softwares for recovering deleted files.
Tried 2 and none of them worked! (shoot myself)
I was like.. kill me now.
There is no way I can write 20,000 words in a night and bring it into an exam which is freaking TOMORROW.
I'm screwed.
Then suddenly..i remembered something.
I DID SEND MY NOTES TO MY PARENTS!!
You must be wondering why I would send them my animal ethics notes.
That's coz I want to show them what I have been doing for the past few days when they asked why I haven't been online to skype them.
Really thankful that they helped me even though it took me quite some time to teach them how to send a file through skype. Haha.
Anyway, the ending is I GOT THE FILE BACK.
So it's all good.
So it's all good.
Lesson learnt: If something is stopping you from backing up your files (eg your laziness, no hard drive etc), just send your work to random people and hope that they will be too lazy to delete the file which will then be hiding somewhere in their computer when you desperately need it back. lol.
Sometimes it's so cool that when you talk to a friend that you haven't been talking to for ages, you realise that the friendship between you two hasn't change a tad bit.
The way that person talk, react to the things that you say etc.
No stranger feeling at all.
Just that instant clickkk.
Fun old memories :)
Gosh. I'm getting old..

Long Distance Relationship
I know many couples who break up coz being away from each other is really not easy.
But being in a LDR myself,
I realised that long distance relationship isn't that bad after all.
The only bad thing about it is that there is no physical interaction.
And that's about it.
We can literally do everything else(through skype).
1. Have meals together
- We would wake up earlier on the weekends to have breakfast together.
2. Study together
- during exam period, we would just leave skype on for the whole day. Trust me, it actually makes you feel less bored when you have that person right on skype
3. Watch movies together
- As I said before, just share screen!
And, we can concentrate in what we want to achieve first without the distraction of having a boyfriend or girlfriend especially when you are still studying.
Plus point there.
And and and, if your relationship works out, it just goes to show how strong it is!

It's not that hard.
At least I always have something to look forward to all the time.
And that keeps me going! :D

You were the one who let it go,
so don't come back for it.
You were the one who made the choice,
so don't come crying to me.
Telling me how much you are regretting now,
will not change anything.
Not a single thing.
You should have thought of this that night before you slammed the door behind you.
Don't ever, ever come back again.

Betrayer
A past that you don't want to remember.
Even if it comes back to you one day,
let it know that you have moved on.
That's the best way to show that you are better off without it.

Things that I will never ever do:
1. Pick up smoking
- Just can't take the smell :(
2. Get a Tattoo
- Too painful
4. Drugs
- well I was taught in school not to do drugs, there must be a reason why
(not that i will try but not going to deny that I'm actually a little bit curious of how it feels like)
No offense to you guys out there who have done any of these.
That's just meeeeee
my parents will be so happy to see this post. lol.

Counting down to the end of exams and...BACK TO SINGAPORE!
So many things that I want to do.
1. Squeeze my cat once I reach home (Don't care if he is gonna struggle or what, not gonna let him go for at least like 2 hours).
2. Spend heaps of time with my family!
3. Meet all my friends whom I promised to catch up with :D
4. Visit night safari :)
5. Eat those Singaporean food that I have been craving since day one when I left (Trust me, I've got a list).
6. SHOPPING
7. Meet ❤
8. Just by being home~
This list got me excited alreadyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
I have been really worried that the cut might leave an ugly scar.
But guess what!
I realised something.
If I put my thumb and my index finger next to each other, it actually forms a perfect little heart shape!
I'm not even joking.
About 0.5cm?
yeah so I'm really lucky to have such a tiny scar and at the same time, a cute one!
Wee~
Not too bad after all :D
