Linley Valley Abattoir

Woke up at 5.45am today to go to Linley Valley Abattoir.
No pictures coz we were not allowed to take any :(
Saw the whole process of how pigs are slaughtered to how they are packaged into what we see in big supermarkets.
I was quite amazed with all the machineries used and how everything just flow so smoothly.
Was watching Despicable Me last night and the vast number of employees doing the same thing again and again reminded me of the little minions when they work!
So cute~
hahahaha

No pork for me till I get over everything I saw. And smell.

Minions!!!
Heard from my friend that they are actually mutated corns..
I didn't know that.

DESPICABLE ME 2!!!!!!!

Evening ride

Went for a bike ride during the sunset period.
So pretty.
Lucky that my estate has lots of parks around and bike routes.
Got a little lost coz whenever I see a downwards slope,
I will just turn into that road and enjoy the "weeeeeee~" breeze.
Lol.
But I still managed to get home for dinnaaaa :P

:)

Watched a football match for a little bit~

Stopped at IGA to get some random shizzles.

I have got a new hobby!
Yays :)

Yay!

FIrst thing I did in the morning was to open the garage and
TADAAAAAA~~

No instructions booklet inside.
Luckily yy is kind enough to offer to help me fix up this bike.
If I were to do it myself, I reckon the wheels will start rolling off halfway while riding.
It's sitting in the garage now and waiting for a test ride tomorrow.
Wee! :D

Thanks friend :)

Since young,
I have this one favourite classic song.
Was out by myself today and I heard it while walking pass this little boutique.
I stopped, and listened :)

Ride Ride Ride~

Reid Vintage Ladies Bicycle 6 Speed- Special Edition

Just coz walking to school is a little bit too far and taking a bus is a little bit too close.
So this solves my problem!
The seat and handles will be in white.
And no basket.
Lol.

PS: It's an early birthday present.
Just in case mum sees this and go...WHAT!!!

Tattoos

If I EVER EVER get a tattoo, it's gonna be a paper boat.
Yes, a paper boat.
A tiny one on my wrist.
It just gives me the feeling of freedom, calmness and peace.
And that's what I want :)

Last time when I was a lot younger, I would stereotype people with tattoos to be rebellious etc.
But I came to realise that many people get tattoos to mark significant events that happened in their lives. Be it a great achievement in life or the lost of a love one.
I once heard from someone that all the tattoos that he has are all his favourite things and he wants to bring them along together with him whenever he goes.
And I find that pretty meaningful and cute.

Sometimes we should really first try to understand what other people actually went through and what their stories are before we judge.
Something that I learnt and you should too :)
I miss homeeeee.
Just one of those days where you just wanna be home.

Counting down.
266 days more.
Lol.
Danggggg

Sheep Cartilage Repair

MAVS have received the opportunity to assist Dr. David Murphy, associate of equine surgery, in the research involving cartilage repair so I volunteered to help!

One of the sheep who underwent the surgery.
You can see the stitch on its left hind leg.
Mehhh~

Me doing post surgery visual diagnosis!

Whenever I have an experience with animals, it further assures me that this is what I really want to do in the future.
Nothing else suits me better :)

Home sweet home :)

Updates on our refurbishment of the house!

Our living room view from upstairs!
The tv console is gonna go, still looking for one.

Yeah I know, the tv and xbox are on their way, not gonna watch a clock.
My favourite part of this area is where the bean bags are with cushions thrown around them!
Super cozy. Heee :P

The stairs is right at the back in the pic.
I like how it goes like 90degrees twice and up to our rooms.
Like a mini spiral thingy.
Cool cool~

Our kitchen!

Dinning area~
Still gonna add some decorative stuff, not fully done up yet.
Ignore that box behind.

Left the alfresco and our garden lights to complete!
Can't wait for our little house warming party on EASTER :D
So, we decided to take a step back.
No massive quarrels or arguments,
just getting things sorted out and reaching a mutual agreement.
I could see things so much clearer now.

I'm happy the way things are now.
Thank you for being you,
the understanding you :)
