Basically I just have to put the rabbits on the kids' laps and make sure they don't kill it.

His Visit! (Part I)

More details on his visit!

So that was actually what i was counting down to :P

Surprised him at the airport!

He thought I was just gonna wait at home for him.

Hehe gotcha!

And surprised him with a lemon cheesecake that I made too.

He said he likes cheesecake before and i remembered!

For a first attempt, it's yummy!

Unless he is lying to me...

He picked a flower for me while we were waiting for the bus ^.^

Silly boy tried to be sweet and put the flower in my hair.

At first I was like awwww so nice.

Then later i realise there was heaps of sand in there T.T

Hahaha

Dessert from the korean bbq and steamboat buffet.

I told him, oh you should eat some fruit, eat the watermelon.

Then the next moment, the whole thing was gone =.=

He felt so guilty afterwards coz he thought I didn't want it anymore >.<

Our buffet breakfast every morning!

Forces us to get out of bed latest by 9.30 so that we don't miss it.

It's a night light which senses movement and will light up automatically.

Only he will watch silly cartoons with me :)

We were both craving for instant noodles at the same time!

He didnt want to tell me that he wanted instant noodles at first coz he's afraid that I might think that he is being stingy.

But i went, " Can we have instant noodles tonight...?"

He was like YESSSSS :D

Got one of my favourite can food but we didn't manage to get a can opener.

He insisted on opening it up for me so he just used the back of a teaspoon.

And..he succeeded!

Rectal palpation

Had our first rectal palpation today!

So basically, you...

1. Glove up your non dominant hand (coz you want to leave your dominant hand clean to do other stuff)

2. Lub up with heaps of lubricant

3. Grab the tail with your dominant hand

4. Form a kind of closed puppet mouth configuration with the hand that you are gonna use to palpate

5. Push your hand into the rectum of the cow

6. Locate the cervix and feel for fetus in the uterine tract!

Heaps of poo was being expelled when I was palpating the cow.

Plus a fart. lol.

But I just have to keep my hand in there and not dodge if not, once I pull out my hand, air will be drawn in and it will be harder for me to palpate again.

And I felt a foetus head!

Was literally stroking its head while my hand was in there.

And i could feel it moving.

Super cool.

It was around a size of a cat so it will be roughly around 5 months old.

By the time my hand was in there for maybe 2 mins, it was mostly numbed up already coz the cow kept contracting its rectum!

Hahaha

That's me trying to find my way to the cervix and uterine tract through the pile of poo in there.

He asked at the royal show.

I said yes.

Even though he got his lines wrong, 

he is still cute that way :)

So sadddddddddd.

Watched it 4 times already and it still made me cry.

Not just coz of the storyline, but because it reminds what my dad has done for me.

While I was still in singapore, he would always wake up really early and ask me what breakfast i want and he would go get it for me.

He would then put it in the car and try to cool it down if it's too hot so that I can eat it straight away once I get in the car. 

He would always order extra of that favourite ingredient of mine just so I would eat a little more.

Sometimes when I don't feel like breakfast in the morning, I would tell him not to get any but he would try to list everything hoping that I would agree to something in the end coz he doesn't want me to be hungry in school.

He has always been a humble man and personally he doesn't get branded stuff himself.

He would save the best for us.

He worked his whole life just to provide us with the best that he could.

Sending me overseas to study and fulfil my childhood dream of being a vet.

I was skyping him the other day and I realise that he is getting old.

He used to be really cheerful but now I feel that he has become more quiet.

Seeing that makes me upset coz I'm not at home to help with anything.

I want to be home to spend time with my family.

I miss them.

:'(

It came today!

My Littmann stethoscope cardiology III with my name engraved!

Got a raspberry colour one but people were saying no one will believe my diagnosis coz it just looks like a toy D: But I'm like it is the stethoscope that the vets in bondi vet uses!!!

Haha. I really like it anyway.

Chloe and I were playing the "doctor role play game" (actually i forced her)

to refresh some childhood memories.

It's so cool how its a real stethoscope now!!

No more toy ones that you cannot hear shit and have to pretend like you hear something =.=

Lololol.

Some growing up there!

Driveeeeee

Had my first driving lesson today!
Warned the instructor first that I could be the worst student that he can ever get.
He said he had worst.
I was like, wait till we start the lesson..
Hahaha

First was all the basic stuff like parts of the car ie rear mirror, side mirror blah blah blah.
Then was steering the car.
Driving the buggy at night safari helped!
Except that I didn't tell the instructor how many times i crashed the buggy into the bushes and had to call for maintenance to tow the buggy.

After we got to the gear and clutch,
it was then panic mode for me all the way...

Now it's actually hard to believe that there are so many people driving on the road.
Which means that there are THAT many people who passed their driving.
That's crazy.

Double lost

So i lost my bank card and my bus card last week.

Wanted to go shopping today so i was hoping that my new bank card will come in by today and it did!

Yay!

But..

When i went to the ATM machine to change my pin number, 

I keyed in 0000 as like the default number and it got through,

but when I wanted to change my pin,

it asked for my password again.

So apparently 0000 wasn't right.

Came to realise that too late and suddenly..

"Your card has been retained"

I was like OMG MY CARD! Spit out my carddddd!!!!

The machine literally ate my card.

A normal day of shu's :)

No no, I’ 22 and I would much rather date older boys.

Erm yes. When the girl comes out of the cubicle that I’m gonna go in next at public toilets. Do you do that?

Pastel green pullover with a white peeping collar and pastel pink longs!

Nope.

YES. Makes me really upset even though some people might say oh you don’t have to feel bad if you know that you have done nothing wrong.

Yesterday. I cry so easily. Not good.

I’m Asian so I think the only other colour that will work and look more natural for me will be brown? Blue, grey or green will be fun too but I wouldn’t want them permanently.

Veterinary physiology assignments briefing. Shoot me.

Absolutely! Favourite actually :)

Carpet floor in my room in front of my heater.

Hmm not really.

Not in Australia but heaps in Singapore.

No. Hate alcohol. Haven’t learned to appreciate them and cannot hold liquor well. Bottleneck and I’m done for the night. 
Living with my uni friends so don't actually have to hide alcohol. Haha

I think it’s cool but my parents will behead me. Yes, I have strict Asian parents.
