Lesson Learnt

Finished Cell biology exams today so I deleted all my notes.
I didn't realise that my 20,000 words animal ethics notes for tomorrow's open book exam was within those files so it was deleted too.
OMG.
I went crazy.
And guess what. I even emptied my trash bin.
So, my friends were helping me to look for softwares for recovering deleted files.
Tried 2 and none of them worked! (shoot myself)
I was like.. kill me now.
There is no way I can write 20,000 words in a night and bring it into an exam which is freaking TOMORROW.
I'm screwed.
Then suddenly..i remembered something.
I DID SEND MY NOTES TO MY PARENTS!!
You must be wondering why I would send them my animal ethics notes.
That's coz I want to show them what I have been doing for the past few days when they asked why I haven't been online to skype them.
Really thankful that they helped me even though it took me quite some time to teach them how to send a file through skype. Haha.
Anyway, the ending is I GOT THE FILE BACK.
So it's all good.

Lesson learnt: If something is stopping you from backing up your files (eg your laziness, no hard drive etc), just send your work to random people and hope that they will be too lazy to delete the file which will then be hiding somewhere in their computer when you desperately need it back. lol.
